The Engadine Long/Short Equity strategy launched in 2016 and was founded by Marcello Sallusti, former Deputy CIO at Egerton Capital, with more than 25 years’ experience in European stock picking.
Marcello and his Investment team employ a fundamental approach to investing, believing that over time, company share prices follow EPS and CFPS. The portfolio is built bottom-up and the long positions include Europe’s most attractive, proven compounders whilst the short positions include European companies displaying declining business models, inefficient capital allocation, unsustainable balance sheets and aggressive accounting.
